The Counterterrorism Institute’s chief volunteer officer, Mr. O’Leary leads the Board of Directors in advancing the mission within the highest standards of nonprofit governance and accountability. A marketing, social media, and brand management expert, Mr. O’Leary leads from the front and takes a hands-on approach in the Institute’s growth and development.
Hans J. Klotzbach
An expert in ensuring safe and efficient operations in the most extreme environments, Mr. Klotzbach combines his experience in industrial regulatory management, critical infrastructure protection, and hazardous materials management with his understanding of nonprofit financial best practices, governance, and investment strategies to ensure The Counterterrorism Institute’s solvency and success long into the future.
Patrick M. Scannell
An entrepreneur and business owner, Mr. Scannell’s experience in advanced risk management, organizational leadership, and corporate development provide a practical and relevant perspective on The Counterterrorism Institute’s operations, long-term vision, and strategic plan. Additionally, Mr. Scannell’s previous experience as a private foundation executive director make him an asset both within and outside the (in this case, virtual) boardroom.
